11, 2001) - The McGraw-Hill Companies' (NYSE: MHP) Construction
Information Group (CIG) will present its annual construction forecasting
conference as 'Outlook 2002' returns to Washington, D.C. on Monday,
October 29th and Tuesday, October 30th. CIG's F.W. Dodge division
has been providing world construction leaders with critical economic
data on the state of the industry for nearly 100 years. This is
the company's 63rd annual 'Outlook Conference'.
Robert Murray, vice president and chief economist
of The McGraw-Hill Construction Information Group, will keynote
Tuesday's full-day session by delivering his annual economic forecast
for the construction industry. This is the 13th consecutive year
Mr. Murray will present his comprehensive "Outlook." David Wyss,
chief economist for Standard & Poor 's DRI, will deliver his economic
foresight during the morning session on Tuesday.
As a special guest, Francis S. Blake, the U.S. Deputy Secretary
of Energy will provide insight into the direction of the Energy
sector as we near 2002. Also scheduled to appear is Seth Godin,
the best-selling author of 'Unleashing the Idea virus' and 'Permission
Marketing.'
